Genderless Deities: Worship at the Altar of You!

When Sam came to us with the idea of doing a gender optional shoot based on the wildly popular Tuesday night live sales, we were thrilled. Sam took their vision and chose a studio, cast models and pulled all the looks for this shoot. Sam's own personal story of gender-affirming and identity-affirming fashion is so fascinating, rich and complex and we hope to get to work with them more in the future. They brought their expertise in make up and drag to this photo shoot, and helped cast an array of beautiful models that captured the essence of the gender spectrum as well as expanded our universe at The Plus Bus into new horizons of inclusivity and community building that is so important to our team.

We asked the models for a reflection from the shoot which was captured in June, which you can read under their gorgeous photos. Whether you’re solidly in your gender expression, or just exploring, The Plus Bus is a great way to tap into your genderless deity, as an archetype that you can use to empower your personal style. Having the ability to try on, not only trends and beautiful fabrics, but also trying on gender as an identity expression is a powerful way to explore your own personal journey towards gender euphoria.
